Nantong Foremost Hat Museum is located in the Boyi Building of Nantong Hat Garden, No. 98 Xinkang Road, Chongchuan District, Nantong City. The exhibition hall covers an area of nearly 2,000 square meters. It was inaugurated on September 2014 and successfully filed on June 2019 by Nantong government. It is one of the non-state-owned museums open to the public free of charge in Nantong.With the help of digital technology to create a variety of forms of display, the museum exhibits a unique collection of headwear and contemporary headwear art design works nearly 2,000 pieces, the total number of collections as of 2023 is close to 6,000 pieces. It is one of the few special themed museums worldwide in terms of scale, number and type of collections.
